(Richland, WA) -- The city of Richland is recognizing Economic Development Week. The week began Monday and lasts through Friday. It's an effort to bring awareness to what economic development does for the community. The city says they will feature their business license reserve fund program, along with another program that allows businesses to apply for grants to fund projects with the goal of making improvements that would entice residents to come into the central business district to spend money. The city also works to recruit other businesses to come into the city from around the state. You can find out more at the website https://www.richlandbusiness.com/
