Teen Dead After Shooting at Party in Umatilla County

(Milton-Freewater, OR) -- An 18-year-old Milton-Freewater man is dead after being shot early Saturday morning. Authorities from multiple agencies responded to several calls about a shooting at a party on Yellow Jacket Road shortly after midnight. According to the Umatilla County Sheriff's Office, the victim was driven by a private vehicle to Saint Mary's in Walla Walla. However, he was suffering from multiple gun shot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

It is believed he had some sort of confrontation with another man at the residence prior to the shooting. There is no word yet on whether anyone has been arrested in connection to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
