This will be a birthday one Franklin County man will not forget.

The sheriff's department says the man went missing Thursday night after 4-wheeling alone in the Juniper Dunes area.

Franklin County deputies and the firemen started a search party to start looking in the 4,000 acre area. Using I-Phone GPS, the group was able to locate him 7-hours later.

Officers say he was home safely six-minutes into his 44th birthday Friday.

His wife wrote a post on Facebook saying, "I am so thankful to these men who have genuine good hearts and sacrificed hours looking for my husband. I was terrified and traumatized wondering if he was okay and thinking the worst. I thought I would never see him again or be able to wish him a happy birthday today."
