KENNEWICK, Wash.-A man who has served in the Kennewick Police Department for over 40 years is turning in his badge.

 

Chief Ken Hohenberg announced at Tuesday night's city council meeting that he will step down February of next year, holding that office since 2003.

 

In addition to his role in local law enforcement, Hohenberg has been heavily involved in the community through his volunteer work at the Colimbia Center Rotary Club, the Boys and Girls Clubs, the United Way and the March of Dimes.
