Kennewick School Levies Split at Ballot Box

(Kennewick, WA) -- Kennewick School District's Replacement Educational and Operations Levy has apparently gone down to defeat. With no votes left to count, the no's beat the yes's 51 to nearly 49-percent. Nearly 16-thousand votes were cast in the race. Kennewick's other levy on instructional technology improvements appears to have passed, 52 to nearly 48 percent.
