Kennewick Drive-By-Shootout Leaves More Questions Than Answers

(Kennewick, WA) -- Police responded to multiple reports of shots fired near Vancouver Street and W. 6th Avenue Monday afternoon. Two vehicles driving north on Vancouver had exchanged gunfire. The skirmish started closer to 10th avenue, before both vehicles sped off--one heading east, and the other heading north. Officials collected several small caliber casings from the roadway, but the only vehicle descriptions provided by witnesses are a silver colored passenger car and a dark-colored pickup truck. Investigators do not know if anyone was hurt during the exchange.
