Two people sit behind bars after Grant County's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team busted a long suspected drug house in Moses Lake.

Deputies say the INET served out a search warrant on the apartment Thursday morning off the 2016 West Broadway Avenue Apt. #2. Deputies say they were backed up by Moses Lake Police and the Washington State Patrol, to serve out a warrant.

Deputies were able to find six grams of methamphetamine and 22 grams of heroin, along with drug paraphernalia, packaging materials and $1,500 in cash.

Both Carlos Sanchez, 42, and Mary Spencer, 42, from Moses Lake were arrested and face charges of suspicion two counts each of Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act, possession with intent to distribute, maintaining a dwelling or place for controlled substances, and for maintaining a drug house within 1,000 feet of a school or school bus stop.

Detectives also seized two vehicles and personal property. The several months long investigation involved multiple undercover drug buys by investigators.
