KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Officials with the Benton-Franklin Health District released information Monday afternoon confirming four new cases of coronavirus in the Tri-Cities.


The new cases include:

  • A Benton County woman in her 90s who is hospitalized
  • A Franklin County woman in her 50s who is recovering at home
  • A Franklin County woman in her 30s who is recovering at home
  • A Benton County woman in her 30s who is recovering at home


The official case count in Benton County is 10 and Franklin County is now six.


"We are aware that there are other clusters of COVID-19 like illness in our community that are pending test results," said a statement from BFHD. "The community should continue to abide by all social distancing recommendations."


On Monday, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown issued a shelter in place order for the entire state. 


Gov. Jay Inslee is scheduled to announce additional measures for containment of COVID-19 Monday afternoon.
