Former Tri-Cities TV anchor plans to run for 4th district congressional seat

U.S. Congressman Dan Newhouse will have a challenger next November, a former local TV anchor plans to throw her hat into the ring.

Christine Brown announced on Facebook she plans to officially announce her candidacy Wednesday at Columbia Park near the boat launch.

According to a statement on her event page she will speak more about her Democratic campaign values and commitments.

U.S. Congressman Dan Newhouse has held the seat for two-terms.
