Three people were displaced by an early Saturday morning fire in Umatilla County.

According to East Umatilla Fire and Rescue, the fire was reported on the property off of Highway 204 at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday.

Crews arrived to find several trees and vehicles on fire, with windy conditions and a lack of access to water posing challenges for the firefighters. A one lane road leading to the property also made it difficult to access, and for water tenders to refill and return to the scene.

A motorhome, 5th wheel, 3 passenger vehicles, a tractor, scooter and a 4-wheeler were all lost in this fire. Crews also took down four small trees that burned.

17 firefighters were working on this fire with an engine, 2 brush trucks, 4 tenders, a medic unit and 2 command vehicles.

Officials believe and electrical issue likely sparked the blaze.

No one was hurt, and the Red Cross responded to help 3 displaced residents with temporary housing and other immediate needs.
