Fire Burns a Hermiston Industrial Supply Store

(Hermiston, OR) -- Umatilla County Fire District One crews raced to the scene of a a commercial structure fire at 5 Campbell Dr. in Hermiston. Authorities say the blaze broke out around 6:48am. The first arriving units found a medium sized commercial building with heavy fire. The Battalion Chief for Unit 21 established command and asked for more help. Over 30 firefighters from various agencies responded to help get the fire under control. Authorities declared the blaze out around noon. Campbell Drive had to be shut down for hours. No one was hurt.
