E Coli outbreak in WA linked to yogurt brand

OLYMPIA, Wash.- The Washington State Health Department has identified a possible link between a recent E Coli outbreak in several counties to a specific brand of yogurt.

"PCC Community Market" brand yogurt, produced by Pure Eire Dairy, is the likely cause of 11 confirmed cases, including one in Benton and one in Walla Walla counties.

Seven people have been hospitalized and three have developed Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome.
