PASCO, Wash.-- Columbia Basin College is looking for students, staff, or community members who embrace the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.


Every year, the college recognizes someone who puts their belief in equality and social justice into action.


The school will present the reward during its annual Martin Luther King Bell-Ringing Celebration on Monday, January 18, 2021. This year's event will likely be a virtual, online presentation due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19.


Anyone can submit a nomination for consideration of the award by sending a letter explaining the contribution the nominee has made to society, reflecting the spirit, philosophy, and teachings of Dr. King.
