Two teens hurt in high-speed rollover crash in Kennewick

An 18-year-old was thrown from a SUV and a passenger was hurt in a rollover crash in Kennewick early Saturday morning.

Officers say the driver drove his fathers SUV down W. 4th Ave. at a high-speed through the roundabout at Kellogg causing the SUV to roll several times. Officers say the 18-year-old driver was thrown from the SUV. A 17-year-old also in the SUV suffered from lacerations and was treated at the hospital.

The 18-year-old was flown to Sacred Heart with a leg and hip fractures.

Speed and driver impairment are believed to have contributed to the crash.
