WW City Firefighter Arrested

(Walla Walla, WA) -- A Walla Walla City Firefighter is under arrest on charges of child molestation. Anthony Spada was taken into custody Wednesday morning by the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office. They are conducting the investigation. Spada has been placed on administrative leave, and instructed to stay out of city offices and not contact city employees, pending the Sheriff’s investigation and guidance from our legal counsel.“This is upsetting news to the entire community and city family, particularly our outstanding fire department,” City Manager Nabiel Shawa said. “Our hearts and thoughts are with the family.”
