Woman Shot After House Party in Kennewick

(Kennewick, WA) -- Kennewick Police were called out to a home on the 2900 block of of W 7th Avenue for reports of a woman shot shortly after 5am Tuesday. Responding officers arrived to find a young adult female with a gun shot wound to the arm. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment while authorities investigated the scene.

The preliminary investigation indicates that there was a party at the location which had been going on throughout the evening. At some point, an unknown person who had been at the party fired multiple shots from a firearm. Though they do not have a suspect in custody, detectives believe it to be an isolated incident with no immediate threat to the public.
