Lawmakers in Washington state face two priorities this upcoming session in January, according to State Representative Larry Haler.

"It is going to be McCleary and obviously writing our biannual budget for 2017-2018," says Haler.

State Representative Larry Haler says he already expects to be there longer than the 120 days, about mid-June due to the budget and McCleary.

Haler also plans to introduce several bills including support for a LIGO visitor center, strengthen laws for those who shoot at law enforcement and writing a 30-year plan for modernizing his districts irrigation system.
