Police were called to a home early Sunday morning on reports that a man in the home was armed with knives, and that several people--including two children-- had locked themselves in bedrooms.

The suspect then allegedly lit a fire in the house--forcing the victims to escape through windows. The individual in question was outside armed with a knife when police arrived. According to the report, they first tried using a less-lethal device but later shot the suspect.
