A trial is getting under way in Oregon that looks to take down the leader of the Gypsy Joker's Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and it has a local connection.

64 year old Kenneth Earl Hause, the gang leader for 20 years, and several other members, including the Portland President, are facing charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering, kidnapping and murder.

The suspects kidnapped, beat and killed 56 year old Robert Huggins and dumped his body in Clark County in 2015 after he tied up Hause's wife and stole thousands of dollars from his home.

Hause is also accused of knocking out a Kennewick man's teeth and had a member tattoo an "X" over a Gypsy Joker tattoo on his back.

The trial is expected to last six weeks.
