(Prosser, WA) -- A SWAT standoff Thursday night in Prosser leads to a woman in jail. Police there say the suspect was screaming she was going to kill someone. Police were called out to an apartment complex after tennants say a woman was threatening them with a knife. Now this all went down at an apartment complex off the 1800 Block of Wine Country Road around 9:30 Thursday night. When police arrived, they recognized the woman as a suspect involved in robbery from the day before. She barricaded herself inside an apartment and began to scream and throw things around. SWAT was called out and ended up using non-lethal chemicals to force her out. 43-year-old Erica Alvarez is in the Benton County jail.
