About 10 am Friday, a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 182 between Rd. 68 and Rd. 100  had a tire blowout, with two adults and four children in an SUV.

The driver lost control and went to the inside shoulder, then came back and rolled their vehicle onto the right shoulder. Four people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for a short time, to allow fire and medics to do their job.

Washington State Patrol Trooper, Chris Thorson pointed to a worn edge on the strip of tire that blew, laying on the road.
