PASCO, Wash.-- Police in Pasco have identified a suspect in last week's armed robbery at a convenience store.

Investigators say they got a tip from a facebook follower that led them to identify Enrique Banda-Garcia, 23, Pasco as the man who allegedly entered the Xpress Mart at Clark St. and 18th last Wednesday, armed with a sawed-off shotgun, and demanded money and cigarettes.

Officers say they learned that Banda-Garcia was already in custody on unrelates charges. Jail records for Franklin County show that Banda-Garcia was booked into the jail shortly after midnight Sunday morning on Domestic Assault charges. Detectives served a search warrant at the man's home and recovered a pistol-grip shotgun similar to the one used in the robbery, along with a red Volvo, and Marlboro cigarettes.

The robbery remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone with additional information to call dispatch at 509-628-0333, or email Detective Jesse Romero at romeroj@pasco-wa.gov and reference case 20-19695 Armed Robbery.
