South Central Region must wait two more weeks to move to reopening Phase 2

OLYMPIA, Wash.- Governor Jay Inslee announce seven of the eight regions in the state will be able to move to the second phase of reopening next Monday, February 15th. But NOT the South Central Region.

The region that includes Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Columbia, Yakima and Kittitas counties, met two fo the four metrics in the "Roadmap to Recover" plan, but fell short in hospitalization rates and seven-day percent positivity rates.

The chance to advance will come in two weeks and take affect March 1st.
