Kennewick Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in her apartment early Saturday morning.

According to a press release, medics were called out to a home in the 2600 block of W. 6th Avenue for a report of a woman who was unresponsive and cold to the touch.

Investigators say the woman's roommate called 911 and started to perform CPR until medics got the scene. The woman, identified only as Tessa West, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death hasn't yet been determined, but police believe West may have been dead for several days before she was discovered. Investigators are asking for the community's help piecing together information about West's last days due to some suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Anyone with information about the death can contact the Kennewick Police Department through the non-emergency dispatch line at 509-628-0333, or by leaving an anonymous tip through Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers.
