A Hanford worker received a precautionary medical evaluation Monday for symptoms related to odors reported at a building outside the AZ Tank Farm.

The worker was not in an area that required a supplied-air respirator and was released to return to work.

Two other Hanford workers received precautionary medical evaluations just last week after having chemical odor-related symptoms. The workers were outside the C Farms Tuesday and are believed to have been possibly exposed to the vapors then, but didn’t report it until Wednesday. Both were released to return to work.

The latest incident brings the total to 54 workers checked for possible vapor exposure since the end of April.
