Forest Service Waives Recreation Fees for Veterans Day

(Walla Walla, WA) --The U-S Forest Service is waiving fees at day-use recreation sites in both Washington and Oregon this Thursday in honor of Veterans Day. The waiver includes many National Forest Service picnic areas, boat launches, trailheads, and visitor centers. However, fees for camping, cabin rentals, or other permits still apply.

Entrance to Washington State Parks will also be free on Thursday.
