Driver won’t face charges after hitting Pasco boy with car

PASCO, Wash.-- A Pasco boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car Saturday afternoon.

Pasco Police responded to the incident in the 5100 block of Cleveland Lane at about 1:00 P.M. Saturday

Sgt. Rigo Pruneda with the Pasco Police Department says the 8-year old boy walked between parked cars and went out into the street in front of a moving car and was struck.

The driver of the car stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver was not impaired and was not cited in the incident.
