Child Killer’s Charges Upgraded

Prosecutors are upgrading their charges against a man accused of killing a 19-month-old baby girl.

The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Mickey Brown is now charged with second-degree murder for the death of Azaelia Raine RedHorse Jones on August 7th. Police say Brown was babysitting the child for his girlfriend when he called 911 to say she was suffering from a seizure. The child was rushed to a hospital, where doctors determined she had bleeding on the surface of her brain and other traumatic injuries consistent with assault.
