Car Fire in Pasco

A Pasco woman was about to turn into her apartment's parking lot when flames started shooting from the hood of her car Wednesday afternoon at 3rd Ave. and Margaret St. Instead of risking damaging other vehicles, the quick thinking resident pulled over, jumped out and called her mechanic. He extinguished it until several Pasco fire trucks and police came on scene to complete the job with water hoses. No one was injured but the car.
