RPD Bomb Squad Cleared After Suspicious PKG Deemed Safe

UPDATE: Richland Police says the suspicious package turned out to be an empty bag. The scene is now clear and the evacuation has been canceled.

(Richland, WA) -- Richland Police Department says they have evacuated the Federal Building off 825 Jadwin Ave after a suspicious package was located there this afternoon. Bomb squad has been called. Police are asking you to avoid the area.
