OTHELLO, Wash.-- A 911 call reporting a suspicious vehicle near Othello Thursday morning led the discover of a car filled with bodies, and the arrest of an Othello man.


According to a press release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 2200 block of Charla Rd. near the area of Edson Tracks, where someone reported seeing a car with blood on the hood.


Deputies discovered one body inside the vehicle, and contacted the Washington State Crime Lab Response Team to assist in processing the scene. It was during the processing that detectives located additional bodies in the trunk of the vehicle.


Deputies say the condition of the bodies is hampering efforts to positively identify the victims.


Before midnight Thursday, deputies arrested Mauricio Nava-Garibay, 28, Othello. He faces multiple charges, including 1st Degree Murder.
