Accident on the Westbound 240 Freeway Turns Deadly

(Kennewick, WA) -- A single vehicle crash resulted in the death of a 65-year-old Kennewick man Monday afternoon. The Washington State Patrol says Kenneth Bloom died at Trios Health, after his car left the westbound 240 Freeway and rolled into the brush at Columbia River Trail Park. The crash snarled traffic for a short time on the westbound side of the freeway. It's not clear why Bloom's vehicle left the roadway. The State Patrol is investigating.
