(Olympia, WA) -- Governor Jay Inslee's extension of the COVID-19 Utility Moratorium officially expires Thursday. Officials say hundreds of thousands of Washingtonians are currently behind on their utility bills--including electric, water, and gas. Starting Friday, some residents may be at risk of having their service shut off.

If you're behind on your bills, It's recommended that your reach out to your service provider to see if you can work something out. Many providers are offering COVID-19 related credits or other customer assistance.
