Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson filed a lawsuit in a California court Monday asking a judge to block a new Trump Administration rule.

Ferguson says representatives from his office and Child and Youth Services interviewed twenty children living in state-licensed facilities in Washington and found what he describes as deplorable conditions. The A.G. says the new rules violate the current rules governing the treatment of immigrant families and children are rooted in a case originally filed in the mid-1980s, Flores v. Reno.

Ferguson has filed 47 lawsuits against the Trump administration.
