TRI-CITIES, Wash. - The bi-county region has now surpassed 28,000 Coronavirus cases since the outbreak began last spring, with 69 new cases in Benton County over the last three day and 43 in Franklin County.

That comes out to a daily weekend average of 23 in Benton and about 14 in Franklin.

The Health District, as well as the State Health Department will pour over the data and determine which counties could move back to Phase 2, with an announcement expected Tuesday.
