BLAINE, Wash.--The Washington State Department of Agriculture officials have eliminated what is the 3rd Asian Giant Hornet Nest in Washington State this year. It was discovered not far from a couple others located in the Blaine area. This one, however, a little difficult to remove because it was 20 feet up in a tree.

Officials destroyed one nest last year, making for a total of four identified in the state. Traps remain in the area to control more of the invasive species.
