Stolen car recovered following call for court order violation

Dispatchers in Pasco received a call early Sunday morning from a woman who believed a car was following her. She suspected it was her ex, and that he was violating a no-contact order by following her. Dispatchers encouraged the woman to start driving toward the police station on N. 3rd Ave.

As she neared the station, a Pasco Police officer located her and the vehicle following. Officers stopped the red Honda Prelude, which had been stolen out of Pasco while left unattended and warming up the day before.

Police arrested 30-year old Alejandro Garcia, the victim's ex, for possession of a stolen vehicle. He also faces charges for violating a court order.
