State Department Sends Afghan Evacuee’s to Washington

Washington state is preparing to take in nearly 17-hundred Afghan evacuees. The State Department informed Governor Inslee on Wednesday that Washington will be taking in 16-hundred-79 evacuees out of a group of 37-thousand coming to the U.S. The evacuees will settle in seven different cities across Washington. No news if any will be resettled here locally.
