A 31-year-old woman and 27-year-old man sit behind bars in connection with a Walla Walla man who says he was threatened with a knife after he noticed a car near his property Wednesday.

Walla Walla police say they were called to the 400 block of Chase around 12:00 p.m. Tuesday. Officers say the property owner noticed a car sitting on his lot and when he went to confront the occupants, one of them threatened him with a knife.

Officers say that suspect then entered a home in the 300 block of Myrtle Street and officers set up a perimeter. However, the suspect was not in the home and is still on the run. The owner of the house, Devon Millar, was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant.

The car the suspects were in turned out to be a van reported stolen from the 700 block of N 12th Ave on Sunday.

Police tracked down Dearcie Abraham and Robert Burgess on Wednesday and now both face charges for assault in the 4th degree and possession of a stolen vehicle. The 3rd suspect is on the run and believed to have been the one carrying the knife and threatened the victim.

Officers say if anyone as information on the case you are asked to call police.
