A 16-year-old has been arrested after a police chase and officers say he is also believed to have committed the armed robberies that occurred in Pasco.

Pasco police say an officer spotted a stolen SUV early Thursday morning  that matched the description of the vehicle that had been used in two armed robbery in Pasco and possibly one in Kennewick. Officers tried pulling over the vehicle but the 16-year-old driver refused to stop and instead drove recklessly.

Officers say the chase went into Kennewick and it ended with the driver crashed into a concrete wall at Yelm and 395.

The 16-year-old boy was taken into custody for Possession of a Stolen vehicle and Attempting to Elude. Officers later added charges of Residential Burglary, Auto Theft, and 1st Degree Robbery. Pasco police are working with Kennewick police to see if the suspect also committed the armed robbery in Kennewick.
