Pasco PD to test body cameras

The Pasco City Council has given the green light to allow the police department to test out body cameras.

The cost of equipping the department is still under review according to Police Chief Bob Metzger.

"There is no cost right now, until we figure out how this is going to work, and all the other needs that we have and then we will look at grants and other things to try to pay for it," says Metzger.

If it works out, all 72 police officers would be equipped in the future.
