Pasco man arrested for animal cruelty

A Pasco man faces animal cruelty charges for allegedly kicking his dog's head repeatedly.

Investigators say they recovered video of the 26-year-old suspect kicking the dog in the head more than a dozen times, causing swelling and cuts on the animal's face.

The man was arrested Saturday and is being held in the Franklin County Jail. The dog was taken to Tri-Cities Animal Control to be evaluated and treated for its injuries.
