Matt Beaton to challenge Franklin Co. Commissioner Brad Peck

Franklin County Auditor Matt Beaton filed to run for the Franklin County Commissioners post held by Brad Peck.  Beaton cited "foot dragging" on the part of the incumbent Brad Peck for his decision to run.

Beaton says the largest fraud case in state history led to his call for new software to detect the misuse of county funds.

On the other side, Peck filed for re-election and says county voters want his leadership when it comes to spending their tax dollars. He says he is expecting some key endorsements for his campaign.
