Man arrested after shots fired in Walla Walla

A 39-year-old Walla Walla man was arrested after police were called to the 1100 block of West Chestnut St. for a report of shots fired.

The suspect reportedly discharged the weapon near the face of a 54-year-old, whom the man apparently knew. The victim was not injured, however a bullet did strike a nearby house.

When officers found him, they determined the gun was stolen. He was jailed for that, as well as first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
