Fatal Accident Involving Motorcycle in Richland

(Richland, WA) -- A motorcycle collided with an SUV leaving one person deceased early Thanksgiving morning. Richland Police responded to the scene and investigated for several hours. They say a man in his 20s struck the side of the vehicle in the intersection of Williams Boulevard and Stevens Drive. He was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries, but unfortunately passed away.

There is currently no evidence of impairment, and no passengers on the motorcycle or in the other vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was not injured, and is cooperating with police. The accident remains under investigation.
