A man is set to be charged with false reporting, shoplifting and a previous Department of Corrections Arrest Warrant after trying to take items from a store.

Kennewick officers say when the man was caught at Rite Aid off of 101 North Ely, he threatened to damage employee's cars and return to assault them.

Officers say they saw the man leaving the store on foot and when they approached him, he gave them a false name. He was arrested for several charges.
