YAKIMA, Wash. - A courthouse in Yakima was evacuated Tuesday morning after a suspicious package was found.

Yakima Valley Emergency Management says the package was found at the William O. Douglas U.S. Courthouse during a mail screening process.

Roads and businesses around the courthouse were also closed and evacuated while local bomb technicians assessed the package.

They found an electronic device with some cables inside, and after closer inspection, determined that there was no threat or foul intent involved with the delivery of the package.
