All seven woman and their seven children who lost their home to a fire in Kennewick Wednesday afternoon have a temporary place to stay... but Jason Bliss with the Oxford House... a group that maintains 24 homes in the Tri-Cities for men and woman committed to overcoming drug and alcohol addiction... says they'll need a permanent home.

"We've received donations of clothing and personal hygiene items. We're still in need of things like diapers, formula, and car seats, for the short term," Bliss said. "Long term, we need furniture and other household goods so we can get the ladies into a permanent home.

He said the Red Cross is also helping the women.

Bliss says anyone wanting to donate items to help the women and the children, who are ages 6 months to 12 years, can call him directly, at 509-430-1155.
