(Olympia, WA) -- Washington State will soon require people attending large events to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or a recent negative test result. Governor Jay Inslee announced the new rule Thursday, and it will take effect on November 15th.

The rule applies to indoor events with at least 1,000 people and outdoor events with over 10,000 people. However, it does not apply to shopping malls, grocery stores, or religious gatherings. It also doesn't include K through 12 school events on school property.
