WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The number of COVID-19 cases in Walla Walla has at least doubled this week, with new numbers reported by county health officials today. Positive coronavirus cases now stand at 20 in the county with six of those cases in Burbank and Wallula. Those positive cases are connected with a work place exposure.

Four positive cases are being reported out of College Place and the remaining ten cases are all in the City of Walla Walla. Two people have recovered and one person has been hospitalized because of the virus.

People in the county who have tested positive are in home isolation and people who were in close contact with them have been notified. The age range of people who have been infected is from under 20 years old to over 80 years old.
